The goal of the MCC training is to provide pilots with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely operate helicopters in a multi pilot environment. It can be started after having received the CPL(H) licence.
Even for single pilot operation, the course provides skills that are valuable for increased safety.
There are two types of MCC courses:
Babcock MCS Germany GmbH offers the training in each case at a fixed price if you complete the training within the legally required specifications

The MCC IFR course consists of:
Theoretical training is identical for both VFR and IFR courses.
Our experienced flight instructors of the Babcock MCS Germany Training Academy have prepared the theory in accordance with the legal specifications in order to convey the information to you in a compact and comprehensive fashion.
The theoretical training includes the following subjects:
Practical training takes place on our FNPT II MCC Simulator, which resembles the cockpit of an EC135. Many of the cockpit procedures can be simulated as in the real helicopter, so a good level of realism can be provided during the training.
The flights are recorded and analyzed on a separate debriefing station after the flight including video of the students, their reactions to given occurrences as well as flight data or limitations of the helicopter.
The course is completed with participating in the theory classes and successfully completing the required practical simulator training.
A certificate will confirm the approbation of the course.
