The theoretical training is completed by passing exams in the respective subjects. The exams are held at the competent national aviation authority and are in the form of multiple choice questions.
Practical flight training
The practical training as professional pilot requires 135 flight hours most of them directly with a with a qualified flight instructor (FI). The other part of the flying hours is required than solo flight time. Further components of the integrated training as commercial helicopter pilot CPL(H):
Permission for solo flights requires successful completion of the theoretical training. The emergency procedures and a navigation flight are normally undertaken with the concluding test flight.
